Accidents and life happens to us all. I was in a bad accident resulting in many fractures, and unable to dress myself, shower myself, do any meal prep or anything else for a few weeks, and after that time, I was still very limited with what I could do.
Another time I had both wrists operated on at the same time. I couldn't even turn a page of a book for a week. Others had to feed me, toilet me, and without wishing to be too gross or personal, tend to my monthly needs.
This isn't the time to expend our energy on exercise. It is time to rest and take care of yourself. Perhaps if you feel you MUST do something, what about a moderate-speed walk, and ensuring that you are eating a good balance of food, including lots of fruit/veges and lean protein?
