I'm not a morning person; but I'm trying to become one. Breakfast just doesn't factor into my morning routine. So the question is, what is breakfast officially?
Is it the first meal of the day? Must it be eaten by a specific time after rising? Does it need to be a certain kind of food or a specific calorie amount?
If I rise at 5:30 am; and I don't eat my packed breakfast until I'm at my desk at 8:30 am, is it breakfast?
What is your take on breakfast? "The most important meal of the day" according to my elementary school teacher in 1960-whatever. I've heard it all my life. So if it's so dang important you'd think somewhere in my 50-some years I would have figured out exactly what/when it is!
Food for thought....It's a whole lot lower in calories.
