Thank you for the replies. The Little Debbie was after a weekend of going over significantly on calories, so I started feeling alarmed. I know in my head that when I get that "starving" feeling, even though I have eaten good foods and I am not really physically hungry, that it's emotional or stress-related and I should do something else. But knowing in my head and controlling it, I am finding, are two different things!
I did take a nice long walk after work, almost 3 miles, in the cool crisp air, and it did help. When I got home, I was genuinely hungry and ate a good dinner.
I did decide to take Friday off and do something with the family, away from home and my desk, and am really looking forward to that.
I am grateful to be able to have an outlet, so happy to have found Sparkpeople.
Today's excuses are tomorrow's regrets dressed in disguise.
If you eat crap, you feel like crap and that makes you want more crap.
