SHOCK4,

I give all new members one piece of advice and it's this,"Don't look at good health or weight loss with an all or nothing mentality". If the only healthy thing you did for yourself today was drink 8 glasses of water, that's still a step in the right direction.

As the old song goes,"accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative". give yourself credit for all the positive things you do for yourself and don't beat yourself up because you're not perfect. You don't have to be perfect to be healthy. But you do have to get out of bed if you want to start making a change. Don't allow yourself to get stuck in a rut. When we get stuck in ruts, we neglect our health.

Get up and get busy !

I had a great day yesterday. Went to lunch (played it safe) and shopping. I was so tired when I got home, but slept well. Today I stood up a friend for and early lunch because I didn't want to get out of bed and I'm blowing everything (except diet) off. I'm suppose to go out tomorrow morning with friends and I'm dreading it, and not because I'm fat, just because I'm lazy & don't want to go out.

Get up, get out and play.
