Is it migraine like? If so, that is often related to lowering carbs. It's caused by the drop in estrogen when you reduce sugars in the blood. I hate the headache I get, but love the idea that I've improved my health. Agree with the other suggestions too - caffeine and hydration. Take care! Michelle

Deydration can cause headaches....drink lots of water as fluctuating blood sugar can cause headaches...balance your sugar levels by always eating a carb and a protein together.
Also using olive oil in moderation can diffuse headaches...this is the good fat your body needs...Walnuts, almonds, seasame oil, avocado, sardines, tuna are all good as a diet in high fats... such as trans fats andsaturated fats can trigger a migraine and so can sugar.
Wheat, milk, cheese, chocolate, coffee, sugar, peanuts, pork, nitrites/nitrates ( lunch meats and hot dogs) and MSG, sugar are just some things that may be giving you a headache. Instead eat a bowl of whole-grain fortified cereal with fat-free or reduced-fat milk, mushrooms, broccoli, and spinach...Also your body might be inflammed...adding the spice rosemary to foods may help prevent or lessen headaches
If they do not stop please go see a doctor as diabetics also get headaches, as well as, stress, eye strain, spinal problems, not sleeping well, sinus problems, grinding one's teeth while sleeping and not eating enough just to name a few.

I wonder if you would benefit from cutting back on them slowly? That way your body might not even notice the changes. Kris

Thank you Nancy I think it may have to do with cutting back caffeine and reduced sugar intake.

Hi NIKKISCHROE, Are you eating enough carbs? Are you eating every 3-4 hours? Have you restricted caffeine? Are you staying hydrated? Are you refueling after you workout with some carbs and protein? As you can see there can be many reasons why, but if this issue persist beyond several days you may want to contact your doctor and see what he/she has to say. Coach Nancy
