Don't eat below your range. You need that to fuel your workouts. It's fine to experiment *within* your range, but eating below it won't speed up the process, nor will it make anything easier. Quite the contrary.
I have a question for you. What is your current weight loss goal per week? It's possible that you've set too aggressive a goal fo yourself, and are consequently eating too little. You can reasonably attempt to lose about 3% of your remaining goal per week. That means that the more you have to lose, the faster you can lose it. And consequently, the less you lose, the longer it takes.
When you started out, you could easily lose 2 lbs per week. Now, though, with less than 15 pounds to go, you can AT MOST manage .5 pounds per week... probably a little less.
