Okay, so when I joined sparkpeople, I put in all my information and they gave me how many calories I am suppose to eat a day and how many calories I am suppose to burn a week based on wanting to lose 2 lbs per week.
It told me to consume 1200-1550 calories a day. To burn 650 calories a day.
Well, I already eat between the recommend calories they told me to eat, so I left that be.
But, I felt like burning 650 a week was a little too low.
So, I bumped it up to 3500 a week because I burn about 600-800 calories a day, three days a week at the gym and 200-300 calories a day, 2 days a week at home.
It then never changed my calorie intake, so I assumed I was on the right track.
Now, people are telling me that at this rate I am setting an unrealistic time frame goal. (Lose 35 lbs by June).
This is COMPLETELY confusing to me because for one, sparkpeople pretty much set it up for me, I just put in more exercise and for two, I just have no idea what they are talking about.
Heres all my information, so maybe you can help me out.
I weight: 160lbs
I want to lose 2 pounds per week.
If you can help and hopefully make things a little bit clearer for me, that would be awesome. Because right now, I dont know if I'm eating too much or too little with how much Im exercise. Everybody is telling me different.
