You don't mention anything about strength training, and I think that adding it is going to be critical to your success! While you're losing weight, you WILL lose muscle as well as fat, and cardio alone can't rebuild it.
By adding a good, full-body strength training program, you will preserve lean muscle mass, build strength, and look better with the fat you do have. :) It will also boost metabolism, and help you burn MORE calories at rest. Don't wait until you've lost weight, and don't bother with the light weights/low reps thing. Lift heavy, and challenge yourself.
