Hi Rebecca - want to know the "glass half full" on your post? You know where you went wrong because it sounds like your tracked it! At the very least you have a mental tally of the numbers. Prior to this journey, would you even have thought about it?
I honestly believe that knowledge is power and that this is really 100% mind over matter. We all have those weekends and when you look back over your daily/monthly trends, you should see those peaks and valleys.
What has been working for me is make exercise the first thing I do in the morning. Do I hate that alarm going off 45 mins earlier - of course, but guess what? There are zero excuses as to why it doesn't get done after work - late meetings, friends or family calling, ect. The "move more" part of the equation has already been filled. And for me, when I exercise, it keeps my mind focused for the rest of the day. I didn't get up early to blow it later! :)
Best of luck - you can get back your plan and you will hit goal!
“I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: ‘If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?’ And whenever the answer has been ‘no’ for too many days in a row, I k now I need to change something.” ~ Steve Jobs
Everybody is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid. Albert Einstein
