First off Welcome! Ad Hang in there you'll get the hang of this. Many people are shocked at first when they start by just tracking what they normally eat, those sneaky calories are everywhere! Heck I had to go look up how many calories are in an Oreo DS (I've never bought them) wow no wonder 75 calories each cookie!
Here are my suggestions:
Keep the Oreos up high in a cupboard at night...out of sight, out of mouth
If that doesn't work, figure out how to work 2 or 4 into your daily calorie allotment, get some little zip bags, portion them out but still keep them in a cabinet and off the counter.
If that doesn't work, stop buying them (your family doesn't need them, you don't need them period) If you still need a sweet crunch chocolaty fix look into different granola bars, cereal (careful some of them are as bad as oreos) or the 100cal snack bags I think there's an oreo version.
Hang in there! Start fresh knowing what you've learned!
