Just a question for you. How much caffeine are you drinking/eating? I once had 3 children under the age of 5 so I know what a challenge that can be. Try praying or meditating when you lay down, that might help too.

Yes! My sleep has changed this summer, several nights a week I have a difficult time going to sleep or staying asleep. I do not always feel hungry either, though I do some of those times.
I haven't figured it out yet, but I really want it to stop.

Possibly it could be that you try to exercise right before bed. Try a few minutes of stretching or yoga meant to be done before bed and that might help. But to be on the safe side you might want to see a doctor just to rule anything out.

HI Amy,

You may want to pass this by your doctor. The reason for the questions is many times one of the first signs of overtraining is disturbed sleep. But if you are not training for an event that requires lots of exercise and if you are not hungry, then your doctor may be the only source of answers.

I do not know the cause. I'm eating a wide variety of fruits and veggies, as well as lean meat( i.e chicken and turkey). I'm not going to bed hungry. It hasn't been going on long, since maybe Wednesday of last week. But being a mom of 3, having no energy and lack of sleep is enough to pull my hair out, lol. I'm running a minimum of 3 nights a week, as well as doing crunches and push ups daily. Also, the household chores; laundry, dishes, lawn mowing, etc.

Hi Amy,

Do you know the cause? In other words, are you going to bed hungry? Have you restricted any foods/nutrients? How long has this been going on? Are you exercising?

I haven't had a decent night of sleep since I started tracking my food intake. Does this happen to anyone else and what did you do to overcome it?
I'm not even sure the two are related, but who knows...

I'm dying for a decent night of sleep...
