I agree that you need to go to a doctor. If your health is fine, take a breath and relax. Many people have the same problems because they are overwhelmed. Instead of berating yourself into low self-esteem, calmly think of ways to change these things. Make yourself focus on one small task at a time. For example, don’t think laundry as a whole, but a series of steps. Pro/con lists help make decisions easier. Think about why you forgot and how you can avoid doing it again. Journal! Writing down thoughts and frustrations as fast as they spin though your mind keeps them from replaying. When I reread mine later, the perfect solution is often in the scribbles. We can only do so much in 24 hrs. Each morning I make a “to do” list with a rough time schedule. As long as the list is complete, I don’t think about what else needs attention. I think I know your bottled up feeling. The last thing I want to do when I feel that way is exercise, but the endorphins really help my mental attitude. As for agreeing to avoid a fight, I do the same thing. People generally want to argue over silly things because they have a need to win control of my life. I won't play their game so I agree, they are happy to "win" and I do what my side of the argument was. Then it’s okay to say, “I forgot!” That might be passive-aggressive but it works for me.
