will not weigh myself. The beginning of week 2 and my goal is to weigh every two weeks only. From past experiences daily or even weekly weigh in for me can be discouraging. Very tempting after doing well for the 1st week. The book The Spark has kept me going. I have put post-it flags on pages which really help me to stay focus on eating healthier and learning portion control.

One reason we don't attain our goals is that we often focus on how far away we are from feeling satisfied rather than how far we've come.

Skip going to the gym. I did it yesterday, so today I have to be good!

Starting Weight: 150 lbs.
Goal Weight: 130 lbs.
Current Weight: 150 lbs.

Goal #1: 145 lbs - Get my hair and nails done.
Goal #2: 140 lbs. - Use my gift card to a spa that I got for Christmas!
Goal #3: 135 lbs. - Buy a new summer dress.
Goal #4: 130 lbs. - Buy a new swimsuit and go to the beach for a day!

Her version uses mild banana peppers, creamy Gouda cheese, a bit of bacon for a smoky richness, and tomatoes to offer a bit of freshness. She grills them to add another layer of flavor to the dish.

Serve these as an appetizer or unexpected side dish at your next barbecue!
