Hello- I agree with the other posters here - definitely continue with whatever advice your doctor has given for your mood. I also struggle with depression - and what I find is that how I eat directly affects how I am feeling. I recommend reading "Eat Your Way to Happiness" by Elizabeth Somer. She has some good insights on food affecting mood, and vice versa. My favorite quote from the book [paraphrased] is "Every time you put something in your mouth, you are either making a choice to care for yourself...or not."

I agree with LUANN, if you are depressed, you may (or aldready have) talked to a doctor. As far as healthy foods, habits, try to make small changes, even if that means drinking more water a day. Eventually it will become a habit and you can add on another healthy 'task' like eating a fruit every day... and so on. Good luck!

Welp, for the past month or so I have been really de-motivated. I have been eating a lot of junk and skipping workouts. As a result, I've gained 5 lbs. Now, the exercise is not really the issue... butI'm having so much trouble with eating right. I absolutely can not find the willpower to eat healthy. This may be linked to me having depression. I really need some advice to back on board!
