I am the type of person who really can't eat anything with sugar because it will send me into a binge and make my cravings go crazy. What I do when I want something sweet is (1) eat some fruit - berries usually and I'll add some canned coconut milk (for the healthy fat which helps with that full feeling) and a bit of stevia or xylitol to make it feel like I'm having something really decadent; (2) I make chia pudding - canned coconut milk, 1 T. chia seeds, 2 T. raw cacao powder and enough stevia or xylitol to make it a little sweet (once you've eliminated sugar from your diet, it doesn't take much to make it taste sweet) - delicious! (3) I've discovered an herbal tea that helps too - it's a hibiscus cinnamon herbal tea that is a little sweet but has no added sugars (I think it must be the cinnamon that gives it the sweetness) - it's Private Selection brand which is a Kroger/Dillons store brand, but it is quite yummy too.

would love to get some ideas! I am struggling today after 7 weeks of being completely on program. I know it's probably a good thing as THIS is what I need to learn to deal with to be successful in this journey. I know this is normal, but #@$@ when sugar calls, it's hard. I thought the sugar craving would go away completely but it came back with a vengeance yesterday and I'm having a hard time ending it.
