You could ask your Dr to refer you to a Physiotherapist to learn some gentle chest stretching exercises, but not everyone has good results with it, so you need to be aware and leave off if it causes more pain.

Also, try to stay away from people with flu etc. because if you were to get a bug, the coughing could aggravate matters considerably.

Sorry been away ...costo kicking my butt ....well I have had it on and off for years so now mine is chronic it isn't going anywhere and yes it is a crazy pain that makes you feel like your chest is crushed at times or you get scary pain.

Hello,
I used to have costochondritis many years ago. I remember how painful it was and I thought I had something wrong with my heart. It will usually go away in a years time.

Hello Everyone
I was hoping that I someone can give me some suggestions and or advise.
I suffer from Costochondritis and am at wits end. Don't know what to do for it anymore.
I do low impact cardio 3x a week I cannot do yoga it recks havic on my body would like to try ti-chi
Anyone else out there who suffers from costo I would love to hear from you .
