I have a cold myself, and it's that time of the month, so all I want is chocolate, chocolate, chocolate. Luckily, the only chocolate I have around are dark Dove promises, and I don't really want any other junk food. I did manage to exercise for 10 min. yesterday, but that was it (I went horseback riding and walked in the freezing cold the day before, so that's probably where the cold came from; I figured I could cut myself some slack, plus it was the 10-min. jumpstart video, which isn't exactly easy). Today I'm still feeling blah, but I'm eating well, drinking water, and in a bit I'm going to do a quick exercise video or two. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow. Feel better!

I have a cold too, but I am in very warm Indonesia. I still don't want to exercise. I slept all day yesterday and through the night too. Am feeling a bit better today, but still have the cough or sore throat as well as the drippy or stuffed up nose. What a way to start the new year. I am drinking all of my water though to keep from eating too much. Was easy yesterday with all of the sleeping. Hope all of us with colds feel better soon.

I am with you, I have a nasty cold, with asthma and COPD. And a family that loves junk food. I just joined to so I am highly motivated even if I can't work out right now. I am increasing my water (which I really don't care for) but it is helping me stay away from the junk food. First day I only got 2 glasses down, I doubled it everyday and actually got to my goal today. Hope you start feeling better soon.

I have a cold, and I am coughing. The house is full of the junk food people gave us as gifts (cookies, chocolates) and I am eating them! I don't want to go outside and exercise, I'm afraid the cold will make me cough, and I am too tired to go buy soup at the grocery store. I think I am going to toss the cookies and candy in the garbage and do an exercise vid.
