I have found that when my body is unhealthy then my mind is also. I know that when I overeat it makes me mean because I feel sick. Plus, blood sugar has a lot to do with how a person feels in their own head. When you feel better, you act better and you are more open to positive feelings and experiences. So, yes. Congratulations and enjoy!

Absolutely. When you feel better about yourself, you feel better about the world (and people) around you. Congrats on the success!

I definitely know for me, exercising is a HUGE mood regulator. Or even just a huge release. Because in that time, nothing else matters and while I have a million things running through my mind, I either push harder or I turn it around so I think more about my workout instead.

Glad it is working for you though and you're seeing other non-scale victories from working out :)

I'm not sure how to word this question haha. When I was more overweight I was angry all the time especially towards others. At work I was a d*ck a lot of the time and was depressed. I've hit the 40 lbs mark and am going to keep going, but what I am more happy about is that I'm not that person anymore. I am always laughing and smiling now, people are always inviting me out to parties and to go hang out with them, and I even started to fall in love! lol I never have had such good feelings before this journey. I honestly never thought I could fall in love with anyone as hard as I have. Can simply losing weight/getting healthy genuinely make you happier and confident with yourself? It just seems surreal that the only thing keeping me from happiness was my weight.

Take it one day at a time. :)
