Right now it is best surviving a trip through the washing machine or a run in the rain or through a water puddle. Some members are trying it in their water work outs but the accuracy of it isn't known.

Thanks, Tanya! Have you tried to record aquatic fitness workouts? I read somewhere SAT works in water and BEST if located near the hip. But I don't know if it's really designed to be accurate in the water or it can just survive an accidental trip through the washing machine!

I used a Fitbit first and did find it very motivational to meet daily step goals. I got the Spark Activity Tracker several months ago and find it has benefits as well. It really depends on the types of workouts you do. If you are walking, running or using an elliptical or indoor bike, the SAT captures those workouts great for me and makes recording my work outs in the tracker a breeze. I still use my Fitbit but only to record workouts for my insurance company since they do not recognize the SAT (yet! emoticon).

Hope that helps.

My fitbit was a great motivator until I lost it.
Has anyone used the new SP activity tracking device? The fitbit was motivating but I like the increased features of SP. Looking for input from those who have used SP's device.
