I know I should eat 3 meals a day, but I have always had a problem with snacking in the evening and am actually nauseous thinking of food in the morning. Therefore, the calories I save from the morning I use in the evening. So far it's been working well.

Beverly

Try to stay hydrated before you get to your munchie time - I find when my water discipline slips a little I want to eat more. Do this, and set aside a few calories like another poster said - this should keep you on track.

Good luck!

When I have cravings in the evening I usually fix some Hot Tea with Organic Agave to sweeten it slightly. I also get on the computer and log in to sparkpeople because it keeps me on track towards the ultimate goal.

my suggestions would be:

- find something else to do (read, crafts, etc.)
- set aside those calories in the way of healthy snacks for such a time as they are needed, and incorporate them into your menu plan

So I can stay on plan until about 7 or 8 pm, then I start losing control. So far I am not binging, and the things I eat are reasonably healthy (low fat, high fiber and protein) but it's keeping me 300-400 calories over my goal pretty consistently, and I am not losing weight. I need to exercise more too but it's the evening eating that is really bothering me right now.
