Thanks for your quick response. I have never found that being aware and why I was doing something was of any help in getting me back on track. I think I am a good observer which doesn't always translate into changed behavior.

The journey is as important as the goal.

Help, I took my youngest to college out of state and I have not been on track since August. I am watching my self eat to fill a non food hunger because of missing her. She was a major presence in the house and even though I acknowledge that I am not hungry am still eating and it is showing up on the scale. I have good contact with her but obviously on some level I am not coping with this change in my life productively Please help me with emotional eating. My intellect gets what is going on but that doesn't change my behavior.

The journey is as important as the goal.
