I agree with JENNILACEY--even start 10 minutes a day even if it is just walking around your house for those minutes-resolve to drink less soda and more water. Small steps lead to big changes! emoticon

Set up something to work towards. For instance if you lose 5 lbs, maybe a reward like a fitness mag subscription or getting your nails done, loosing 20 lbs, a new dress or shoes.

Don't "diet". Set small goals that over time lead to a healthier lifestyle. Find a type of exercise that you enjoy doing. Start with 10 minutes a day and begin increasing the duration and intensity as you become more fit.

Take your focus off the Marshmallow.

"Toning" is marketing muscles to women who are afraid if they pick up a barbell, they'll leave the gym looking like She-Hulk. It doesn't happen, what does happen is you get results. Lifting Barbie weights does nothing but waste time.

Pick one tiny goal. Do it every day. Cheer for yourself. When it's part of your routine, add another one.

I need some help on staying motivated on dieting and exercise. I have no motivation it seems. I will diet one day then next day not so much. As far as exercise goes, well, have not even started that yet, but do want to. Any suggestions?
