IMO it is a mistake to weigh yourself every day and expect to see a consistent downward trend. There are so many things that affect our weight-- salty food -- even if it didn't taste salty, it can still have a lot of sodium in it-- can have you retaining water, TOM, whether you've had a BM or not (sorry if TMI, but it's true). And weight loss is not a steady downward trend anyway.
At one point I had to hide my scale, to keep myself from getting on it every day (or several times a day). I set one day, once a week, as my "official weigh in day". And the rest of the time I just trusted the process-- that if I tracked all my food and stayed in my calorie ranges, and did the exercise like I said I would... well then it would work. And it did.
