That's pretty easy...ever weighed a glass of water?? ever weighed everything in your lunch?? Whatever we eat/drink throughout the day is weighed right along with the "real us". And when you use the Restroom, or do some exercise and get a bit dehydrated, down goes some of the weight...
Which is why its quite pointless to weigh yourself more than once a day!! I usually do it first thing in the morning, after a restroom break, and before I load up with coffee and breakfast!
That being said...I actually average my seven days for a "weekly" weigh in. THAT is the important number for me!
Many folks get frustrated watching the ups/downs every day...I actually find it motivating..."OK I'm doing good--lets keep it that way today", or.."Ooops, up a bit today, better be more mindful."
PS...I've also noted I am "sodium sensitive"....Salty food = 2 or 3 pounds of water weight gain!!
PPS...Scales are notoriously inaccurate also!! So that can be part of the fluctuations!
