Hello Chany009,

Once you have completely resolved to adopt/create/live a healthy lifestyle it is actually easy to be motivated every day. Know that every choice you make will either take you closer to your goal ...or not so much. I believe you start with a mental decision, make goals, define your strategy and then just do it.

You can utilize lots of fun tools to help including a vision board, motivational quotes posted about, lay out your workout clothes, have free weight in sight and arm yourself with positive affirmations to counter negative thoughts.

I am usually very motivated. But this weekend that just passed I had my very first down fall. I ate un healthy snacks and hate myself for falling. I was with no strength at all. Last week I had lost 7.5 pounds and I was like a train trying super hard. I think I exhausted all my strengths and fell. I am back on the track. woke up today completed my exercise and kept to my healthy change in life style. I want to continue this beautiful journey of feeling good about myself and reaching my goals that I am working very hard on.

I found running. If I weren't training and going to the gym several times a week, I'd find it easier to drop off on the tracking of food.

Find an activity you like. It doesn't have to be running - cycling, swimming, zumba, yoga, pilates, strength training, elliptical, or pick a sport. Something that makes you get out and move. Then track it here - which forces you to actually log into the site.

And then I figure I might as well fill out what I ate and try to have some conversations or blog while I'm here. And then suddenly I'm finding it easier to stay on track.

I know the difference between how I feed when I eat junk and when I don't exercise versus when I eat right and do exercise. I like the later feeling a TON better and that is my main motivation. I also stick to a list when I go shopping so I never have junk food around anyway since it never gets bought. For me, easy availability of junk food was one of my big pitfalls.

I know you're not supposed to weigh every day, but that is one of my main motivational tools. If I've lost weight I'm excited and if I'm up a little that motivates me to try harder.

Getting on SP motivates me. Also, looking at before-after weight loss pictures. The biggest motivator is thinking of non-weight health goals, such as getting stronger or running faster.

This is a constant problem for me! I am constantly saying "Ok- here I am I can do this" and then next thing I know it's a week later and I haven't been on SP and I've gotten more take out then I care to admit.
