Once I'm home I have a hard time leaving again! It really helps me to go straight to the gym from work instead of going home to change/snack/whatever. I also take a snack to work so I'm not starving and have enough energy to work out.

WADINGMOOSE - Good for you! That motivates me to just tough it out and not give up. I know it'll be worth it in the end when I'm at the weight I'm comfortable with. I know I'm not the only one that has to struggle schedule-wise with fitting in the gym. A lot of people just make it work, and that's exactly what I'll have to do. Thanks for responding.

My schedule is a bit similar to yours - I'm up at 5 and don't get home until 5:30-ish. I always have a snack before I leave the office - usually around 3pm or so. This helps stave of the starving feeling when I get home.

I'm also exhausted when I get home, but I make myself go to the gym - I have to. Sometimes it's frustrating because by the time I finish at the gym, make dinner, eat dinner, clean up and get ready for bed, I'm not actually getting to bed until 10 and not falling asleep until 11 which leaves me short on sleep.

I don't do classes at the gym because that forces me to a schedule I just can't keep so I run and do strength training and I try not to be more than 45 minutes total at the gym. I've given up a lot of things I used to like to do in order to do this so it's a good thing I like it!

I finally found a job and just started working two weeks ago. I'm so thankful that I have a job now, but I'm finding it difficult to go to the gym as much as I did before. I've been getting up at 4:00 a.m. and not getting home until 4:00 p.m. By the time I get home I'm starving, exhausted, and can't find the energy or motivation to go to a 5:30 p.m. class at the gym. Of course I'm going on my days off, but that's not good enough. I've lost 20 pounds so far because I was working out so much. I have to figure out a way to make this work. My brother-in-law is getting married October 17th and I need to lose at least another 15-20 pounds before then.
