I am thinking you wouldn't be here if you were truly fine with where you are? The only motivation I can give is that you can achieve your goals if you set them and work toward them - post menopause or not,
I am 61, lost my husband suddenly 2 years ago (so have had much stress), and after a year of eating my way through grief I had 50+ pounds to lose. I restarted a healthy life style early last Fall and am now 50+ pounds lighter, I work out and walk 5 days a week, and I feel better physically than I have in years. And I am happy and proud of myself.
Go for what you truly want - you only have so much time to enjoy this life.....
