I saw the initial 5 pounds after i started the first week, the second week was another 2 pounds, then it slowed down to a crawl. Over the last 6 years I have been on this website, i have lost, gained, lost and gained the same 50 pounds. I have changed eating habits, exercise habits, tracked, didn't track, exercised, didn't exercise, drank water, gave up soda, gave up refined sugar,
Now I have changed again and weightloss isn't my sole reason anymore. My main reason for being on any journey is to get healthy. You can't be healthy and obese (its an oxymoron). So if I focus primarily on getting healthy, the weightloss and fitness will fall into place.
