I know it goes against intuition but I lose more and faster eating 1500-1800 than i do 1200. my weight just clings to me when I eat too little and logically my metabolism must be slowing down because when I eat 1500-1800 weight falls off much quicker.
I recently read an article that running for long periods of time and medium effort, for women especially, doesn't help in weight loss. I would post the article it if I remembered where I read it my friend posted the link on facebook, I think. but anyway it said that it's much more beneficial to do high intensity for a shorter time period.
anyway, hope that helps! don't get discouraged I know how hard it is to keep going but your body will eventually respond to your efforts!!!!
