I agree with the previous posters-- the scale is just a tool, to measure our progress. So is a measuring tape. And also going by how our clothes fit. As well as, how we feel and are we stronger or can we walk farther or take more stairs etc.
You don't have to weigh yourself every day or every week; if things seem to be going well with your other "tools"-- you could just weigh in once or maybe twice a month. Personally, I'd pick a day when it wasn't close to TOM, or after a weekend eating some salty food. ; )
