Write down your goals-- both long term and short term ones. Post the list where you will see it every day. Even make several copies, and put them up all over the place. Do not focus just on the long-term, end result goal. Break it up into more short-term goals (like every 5 pounds, or 10 pounds), and set up some rewards for yourself, for reaching those goals.
Join a Spark Team. You can find Teams under the Community tab at the top of the page. There are Teams for all kinds of stuff-- age ranges, geographic locations, pounds to lose, hobbies and interests, tons of different stuff. Some of the Teams are more active than others, so you need to look around a bit to find a couple that would be a good fit. I'd suggest you look for one that offers monthly challenges that you can participate in, for extra motivation.
There is even a section here on Spark just for Challenges. Again, under the Community tab. I always like to pick a challenge I'm fairly confident I can complete without totally re-doing my entire life. For example, I don't have a ton of time to exercise, so I wouldn't join a challenge that included committing to 2 hours of fitness every day or anything. It just isn't going to happen. But I would join something that called for doing a 10 minute video every day.
I've found that the more involved I am, with Spark, the more motivated I stay.
