Coach Nancy and I must have some kind of telepathy going because as I was reading your story I thought the 2 very same things in the same order. First, 1-2 pounds of weight loss per week is a safer and more effective solution than 20 lbs in 30 days.
Second, while the biggest loser is "Reality TV" it isn't reality. Those people have personal trainers working with them several hours a day, dietitians and medical personnel 24/7. That isn't real life.
Third, Nancy gives you great advice and stop comparing yourself and your progress to others. You are you, with your own unique physiology and metabolism.
In your writing you say you track your food. I notice it doesn't show up on the nutrition tracker on Sparkpeople. You really should track it there. Here's why. The nutrition tracker breaks down your daily intake and tracks calories, carbohydrates, fats, sugars, vitamins, proteins, and just about anything else you want to track. Using these tools shows you areas where you can bring your nutritional needs into balance in order to get better results.
Also, try using the fitness tracker. It could be of real benefit to you.
Finally, remember you LOST 9 POUNDS. That's terrific! I wish I would have lost 9 lbs in January. I would have been on "cloud 9" with you.
Good luck in your journey, keep up the good work, and JUICE to you!
Nothing tastes as good as healthy feels and looks.
