Of course, I do. But i also keep my BIG WHY in mind and it does help me over the hard spots. I can say don't let it get to you and that everything will work out, but that doesn't always help.
Maybe when you get discouraged and stressed out, focus on one element. There are a lot of elements to being healthy. Weight loss is just one of them. maybe focus on taking a walk. The endorphins you get from that plus being out in the sun can go a long way to making your mood better.
maybe take a long soak in the tub or take an extra long shower. Clear your mind of your worries and picture yourself in a beautiful spot. I picture our family summer home in Wisconsin. it is surrounded by trees and cannot be seen from the main road. Chirping squirrels (yes they chirp), tweeting birds, and the soft rustle of the wind through the trees.
Just take yourself away for a while
I also find journalling helps. maybe you want to blog. But write down your feelings. sometimes once they are down on paper and your re-read them, they are not so bad. it also helps me in stressful situations. it doesn't have to be long. It can easily be a sentence or two.
Reach out to a friend or family member.
Go to an animal shelter and volunteer some time. Holding a kitten or playing with a puppy are mood lifters too. The furry babies may make you smile.
But at the end of the day, i know that being healthy and staying healthy are the greatest gift i can give myself and my family. Head up now.
