We have two rescued cats, Claudia and Kitty, and six dogs, Mo and Litz (Shih Tzus), Joe (Chesapeake Bay Retriever), Molly (Springer Spaniel) and Woody and Phil (Gordon Setters). They all live in the house during the long cold winter in northern Minnesota and I have dust bunnies the size of ponies! Having that many dogs in the house is not my idea but they are all wonderful dogs and love us no matter what mood we are in. I also have a tank full of guppies that seems to go on and on. They just keep having babies.

I have a rag doll cat, solid black and fat. she lives like a queen, and acts like one. I have always love animals and cannot stand to see them abused, sassy my cat now is a rescue from a stray I found her and went to the vet and kept her. The only thing I don!t like about having pets is that they are really missed and its really hurts to loose one

Dust Bunnies! What do they eat? One never has a cat. Cammo Cat has me! She is alot like the cat in Alice In Wonderland. She has to move before you can see her outside among the leaves. Must have pets! 3 dogs, 1 cat, 1 bunny, fish and of course the largest one, my hubby.
Yes, pets. I have a dog and a cat. My dog is always happy with me. I am disabled and spend most of my time in my power chair. When he can, my dog is either in my lap or curled up on the foot platform of my chair. He is always with me displaying devotion to me. He is also a good little watch dog. I don't know what I would do with out him. The cat is very friendly and cuddly but his primary goal in life is to tease the dog. So that is how they both get their exercise - chasing each other. When one is tired of being chased, he just turns around and starts chasing the other. It is very fun to watch.
2 dogs and 2 cats and countless fishes in the pond. Can't bring myself to catch them and eat them!!!

You have to have animals around. I've always had animals around me from fish to lambs. Right now I have 4 cats. Each a rescue in their own way. My 2 girls came straight off the streets. I'm already planning for my dog in about 15 years. That's probably how long our youngest cat has with us.

I have 1 cat and would get a dog if I could have 2 pets and had a clue how to train or house break a dog. I could count the other 3 cats my mom and sister have, not mine, I still love them though. Also ruby and jojo my frined has, rubys a toy poodle and jojs the craziest 3 month old kitten youll ever meet. Rubys like a kid to me and is always so excited to see me, known her since she was 2 months old. Jojos the one I am trying to be friends with and help my friend keep out of trouble, She cute, just always into something and very active.

we had a cat - well, until day before yesterday. We had to ask vet to put him down as he got sick very quickly and even after operation his life wouldn't be the same. We had him for 12 years.
So no pets for me now. Don't want to make similar decisions any more

My fiance and I have a very spoiled, very lazy Old English Bulldogge. He was brought to the shelter 3 times, had lyme disease and one of his past owners was a drug dealer who tried to use him as protection (which obviously didn't work since he's the sweetest baby ever)! Now I figure he deserves to cuddle on the couch all day and just be the most loved and spoiled dog ever

I am in rescue, bull terriers and mixed-breed dogs. I have a bull terrier, and two mixed rescues, two are 9 yrs, one is 16 yrs. I'm an advocate for stopping abuse and getting people to spay and neuter. Many years ago, was a volunteer cruelty investigator. Humans could learn a lot from dogs' attitudes - always forgiving, ready to give folks another chance. Unconditional love and silent, comforting support. I'm glad Mavis, Dolly and Eve are here every day when I get home from work.

We have a very big lab/border collie cross, and he is one of my best kids (mostly because he doesn't talk back!). He gets me out for a walk almost every day, and I walk him even when the weather is terribly cold, or wet, and even really hot, just because I love him and he needs it!

I have a dog. After our last dog lived 17 yrs and had to be put down, I said no more pets. My kids were grown and out of the house. Two years ago someone wanted to give us a dachshund puppy, at first I said "no". My husband talked me into it, now I am so crazy about my dog, I can't image life without a dog.
