1. Eat when hungry and stop when satisfied.
2. Eat foods that I enjoy.
Yesterday I wanted some french bread with butter but I wasn't hungry.
I didn't eat it.
For dinner DH made tuna fish sandwiches. My original thought was to have the tuna in a salad so I could get my veggies. When the time came I mindlessly ate the sandwich. The bread was tasteless and I didn't enjoy it but mindlessly ate it anyway.
