Yeah I've lost five and I don't see a difference yet . . . I guess I'm just hoping that it's a little tiny bit off of everything and after enough fives then I'll be seeing an overall difference--hopefully that's the case!

I am with the others - don't let the numbers (even positive ones) or YOU image of yourself get to you. I once lost over 120 pounds and it was not until I lost the NEXT 20 pounds that people started to sit up and take notice - I shrunk more in those 20 pounds than in the first 120. People NOTICED. This time, people are hardly noticing and even though I have lost ALMOST 50 pounds - it doesn't feel or seem like much.

With love and caring from Nancy ... wishing all of you a wonderful, blessed, and precious day.

About 11 years ago, I had lost 70 lbs. I didn't notice much until I lost about 15 lbs. Most of the weight started coming off my legs first, then face and my stomach was certainly LAST!

Remember that you are very close to your body, and see it every day. As it changes, you may not noticed much in the way of a difference, because you see it change by minuscule amounts every day.

I strongly encourage you to take periodic progress pictures. I was feeling terrible one day about myself, and how fat I felt, and like I hadn't made much change.

So I took a progress picture, and compared it to the one I took when I started.

Well, go look at my Sparkpage. I'll let YOU see the difference for yourself.

The short of it? I could see a difference with those pictures I couldn't just watching myself change every day. And that's only 20 lbs. How different will I look in 30? 40? 50?

So take one now, and put it up. you can check back in 10 or 15 pounds and see how different you look.

7 lbs isn't really all that much to expect to see a big change. When I started I weighed WAY more than you, and I didn't truly notice a change for about 30 lbs or so. Now that I weigh 160, I can sually I can notice a physical difference every 10-15 lbs.

Usually when someone is losing weight, they are the last person who is able to see the changes in themselves. But don't be discouraged! 7 lbs is great! Just keep up the work, and results will come.

Me, too. But I started at 225, so I guess that is to be expected. My pants are fitting a little bit better, and I feel a bit stronger. Perhaps you feel a bit stronger?
