I have the same problem....Especially with my favorite foods...I have been doing so well recently but we decided to have chili for supper last night (one of my faves) and I ended up eating 3 bowls......I have 3 kids and they enjoy healthy foods also but its so expensive...Good luck to you and if you find anything that helps feel free to share lol.

I really do have a similar problem. I find the following things help me break this cycle (when I stick with it anyhow).

1.) Take a drink of water in between each bite. It slows me down and the water really helps to fill me up.

2.) Eat my veggies or salad first using the same technique as #1. Get the healthy stuff in me first, which is also usually the most filling part.

3.) If I really still feel hungry - make more veggies to eat. No one got overweight from eating too many veggies!

Best of luck to you!!

Can't seem to understand that once I start eating food I have an uncontrollable
desire to eat more than I should ?
For example , I prepare a sandwich, and once eaten I will in most cases have an
unstoppable need for another.I can't just be satisfied with one.
It seems to be the same for all foods regardless of what it is I'm eating.
Has anyone here had this issue and gotten past it?
The urge is the strongest at night.

Cheers,
Ken (K2)
