I am going to ask a question i do a lot on this site...
Why are you on this journey? Answer that question. (i told my doctor to lose weight-- he said BS-- that is not enough. you need more than just to lose a few pounds. ) I thought about it further and decided that I wanted to be the best Aunty ever. The best Aunty would not huff and puff up the stairs, the best aunty would be able to play outside and run with the kids, the best aunty would be at graduations and weddings, the best aunty would not be unhealthy.
So now you see what I am getting at-- think and really think. Then when you have those late night cravings and want that cookie, think about your big why. When you don't think you can do one more squat or walk 10 more steps, think about your big why.

Yes you are losing weight and that is fantastic, but just because you get to goal weight doesn't mean you are healthy. Eat right, exercise and take care of the inner you. Health is defined as 100% function of body, mind and spirit with no evidence of disease. My bet is on you. You can get there. You just have to figure out the why. You already know the how.

:)

I can more than relate to what you are saying. Be encouraged because you are loosing weight. Hold yourself accountable, because if you are anything like me; you give yourself permission and then let yourself off the hook. Get tough with yourself and do not tolerate it. I'm tryinhg that now and I will let you know if it works.lol

I've been stuck at my current way for...ever! My fault! I'm not committed. I start out good in the morning and in the evening I go astray. Eating the wrong kinds of food. Exercise could be better but it's not the problem. How can I want this bad enough to be strong enough and just resist the food temptations in the evenings? Help! I know it's up to me but a little support might help. Thanks ahead of time.
