Perhaps your doctor can recommend a nutritionist who can help you come up with a good nutrition plan.

There are lots of informational articles here, but sometimes it is great to be able to sit down and discuss things with a trained professional

Have you tried writing a list of reasons why to exercise and eat healthy? It might be enlightening. You are the only one who can take care of you. You are the only one who is going to live in your body. You wear the results of your choices in diet and fitness.

Keep reading on SP pages. Learn and educate yourself. Choose to make healthy choices. Figure out what you need to do to be healthy. SP pages can help with that.

Stay the course. You are making lifestyle changes and building habits for the rest of your life.

Good luck.

You can do it! It has to start with you. No one has anything to gain by you getting healthy. Only you can motivate yourself. No one else will care if you stay as you are, or change. How many times have we heard 'you're find just the way you are"? The reality is it's true.

Do this only for you.

*You can pray all you want, but if you're not getting up off your butt, NOTHING is going to happen.

*The longer you stay down, the heavier your burden will be when you decide to pick yourself back up.

*I am doing this for ONE reason only: To give myself the life I haven't lived yet

I've been tracking my food, which jus shows that my nutrition is horrible and I'm at the gym 5 to 6 days a week. My only result is weight gain, which is making it harder and harder to move. I need something to excite to get me going again. Who's willing to light the fire? emoticon
