I know there are people who can't exercise for medical reasons, and I hope they can find other ways to keep healthy.

That said, exercise was really the turning point for me. Weight loss may well be 80% nutrition, but there's something about sweating like a crazy person that makes it easier to turn down the extra helping of whatever. Cake doesn't look nearly as good when you internally translate it into an hour on the elliptical.

That seems reasonable. There are times when it is STRONGLY suggested that you NOT exercise and as long as you are making informed choices I am with you GO FOR IT.

When in doubt about exercise...I say as long as you have a clean bill of health from your doctor go for it...you have nothing to loose but weight ...
