Congrats to both of you! Today we got back from a weekend trip on the motorcyle. I was quite tired when I got home and thought "I'll start working out again tomorrow". Then I looked through the mail and my Runner's World magazine came.
I sat on the couch and breezed though it. All of the pictures and stories of people pushing themselves got me moving. That and the smell of the chips and french onion dip my husband was eating.
I got changed, got my ipod and went for my two mile walk/jog. It wasn't pretty but it was better than eating the chips and dozing off on the couch.
You will get there, you already have the desire. Baby steps is the way to go. I've been working on running since the Warrior Dash last year. Since then I have been working out (somewhat consistently) and trying to build up my endurance. I missed this year's warrior dash because I threw out my back a few days before but I got myself together for the Beach Dash a month later.
I'll be sending positive thoughts your way! I wish you the best!
