Kimmy thank you for your support and encouragement. Happy birthday to your boys and good luck on their baseball games. Hope you have fun when your sister and her family get there. What along drive!

Wishing you lots of success in continuing your healthy nutrition and activities. I achieved 14/17 no binge nights for July. I'm also getting 10 daily c water, 10 daily c freggies, and at least 10,000 daily steps each day except yesterday.
I spent the day and night sitting by my brothers death bed yesterday. He did not make it to the morning.

10,000 steps, 10c freggies, 10cH2O, closing the kitchen by 6pm every day and 2500 monthly fitness minutes are key habits to a healthier me.

How is everyone doing? Amazing how the summer is flying by. I'm glad to see updates on my spark feed of your activity and posts, thank you! Even though I haven't posted on here know I'm watching and cheering you guys on! emoticon emoticon
BAseball is still underway and yet another tournament starts tomorrow just for my oldest. Also my sister just decided on Sunday to come out for a few days. So she starts the long 23 hour drive from Louisianna tonight. It'll be good to see her and spend time with her and her family. emoticon We have a holiday in our state Friday so that will be fun to celebrate with neighbors. My 2nd son celebrated his 12th birthday yesterday. My youngest will turn 10 in just a couple weeks too. My kids are growing and doing well emoticon
Have a great hump day and keep working hard at your goals!

Marbella you're doing so well with your OMAT goals. Still need to start setting those for myself emoticon emoticon

Jen, Wecome Back!!! We missed you. emoticon emoticon Sounds like you are pretty busy with all your activities.

Hope you can get some exercise in to help energize yourself for work and school. emoticon I know it's hard to motivate to exercise sometimes. Do you still have a friend who will walk/run with you? If I don't have a walk buddy expecting me to show up. I just don't do it. Outside accountability really works for me. Hope you are achieving your work and education goals. emoticon

Hello all,
Not doing much recently...or long term either. Not even eating very healthily, but I'm working on it.

School is busy, work is busy and life in general is busy.
Toastmasters just had a huge fundraising dinner and silent auction to support the club going into the year to come. We raised 570 dollars, which is great, and will support us well going forward.

I hope you are all doing well. I'm just not feeling very energetic or enthusiastic right now, making it hard to focus on anything (school, work or personal health/fitness). I am hoping to get some focus back.

I can't guarantee when I'll check in again, but I know I will-eventually.

Thanks for always welcoming me back with open arms.

Jen emoticon

Jen!!! Thank you for that note. It's great to have you touch base. I hope things are going well for you. When you have a minute fill us in. emoticon

Marbeall it's great to hear from you. Thanks for being so encouraging! emoticon My back is doing much better. Not sure how much lifting or moving of stuff I'll be doing from now on. We're supposed to do a bike ride on July 3rd of 24 miles at night. We haven't rode our bikes since March. Baseball has been busy. So much that my 9 year old took the #2 seed in his baseball league and he played every night this week in the championship and his team Won last night!! He's struggled at games, he does really great at practices but game time he rarely got a hit. Until the last few games. I'm so proud of him and his team emoticon Just working today emoticon I hate working Saturdays. Oh well. Hope you all have a fabulous day/weekend!!!

Kimmy, congratulations on walking every morning, emoticon emoticon You've really succeeded in making that a serious committment to your health. emoticon emoticon emoticon Awesome progress!!! emoticon

It's great that you have a total gym. emoticon I'm curious to know what you think of it after you have a chance to try it out.

Congratulations fo your oldest son for making it into the summer high school team. emoticon

Take it easy with your back on that fill dirt. Hope you can have a nice back yard emoticon without more pain. Sorry it's still giving you problems since last year's bike ride. I know how that problem can hang around. Taking it slow and being careful not to twist much seems to help me. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Ah my Spark friends I have been slacking and I'm sorry!!! emoticon I get so where I can't see if someone has posted and then I just forget until I go through trying to clean out my emails. It's been great to read and see how well everyone is doing!

Pam emoticon on surpassing your weight loss goal for May even with going on vacation. That is very impressive and makes me realize I need to start setting goals, even small ones. Thanks for being a great example and for continuing to check in here with us! emoticon emoticon emoticon Thank you for sharing your story and I love your determination to want to do it again! emoticon on your daughter graduating!!

Marbeall you're the keeper of this thread! Thanks for always checking in, for your words of encouragement to not only me but everyone and for hitting your OMAT goals!! emoticon emoticon emoticon I loved seeing your introduction to Poohluver1977 and your comment about dancing. emoticon So good to hear you're still dancing and love seeing how active you are!

Poohluver 1977 emoticon Sorry I'm really late and posting that. I hope you check back in with us and let us know how things are going for you! We're a great support system for each other and are here to help you! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Cadermom I haven't seen you post in a while! I appreciate your post and hope you're working on achieving those goals! Let us know how things are going! emoticon emoticon

Things with me are going fine. I'm not doing anything extra to try to be better so need to change that. I'm still getting out walking every morning. Got a Total Gym but haven't really used it. I need to be better about eating but between 3 boys with emoticon we're gone almost every night. One good thing to note is my oldest son made the High School Summer ball team!! That's pretty exciting! emoticon We're leaving in a week for Omaha for his team to play in a tournament out there as their last Woo-Ra before we go our ways and some go on to play for different high schools. emoticon It's sad to thing since we've been together for so many years. But luckily 6 of them are staying at the same high school. We got fill dirt brought in last week and I was trying to work on moving some of that Friday and tweaked my back again so I've been dealing with that pain. I really hate my back and wish it would go back to the way it was before I did that big bike ride last year. Oh well. I need to strengthen my core!!! Hope you all have a fabulous day and know how much I appreciate you all! emoticon emoticon

Melissa.....I used to be in your shoes, working full time with two girls. My job was at a daycare my mom ran out of her house and I was with my kids 24/7, when they went to school I picked them up and dropped them off. I woke up at 5 to get an hour in working out and ate healthy, I got down to 143 and loved it. Not sure what happened but I gained it back plus some.
Then my mom retired and I got a regular full time job, I had to get up at 5 to get ready for work. I got sick of the extra weight and how I felt, luckily my girls helped a little with the housework and I would get an hour of working out after work, went back to eating healthy and I had to be very diligent with the eating, it took a long time but I got to 150 and feeling great again. Then my dad asked me to help with my g-ma after work, I was more then happy to help but it completely threw me off and I gained it back again plus even more.
That brings me to now, even though my g-ma passed a few years ago I have never got my act together again and keep gaining. My oldest daughter graduated from college this past week and living in California and my youngest just finished her second year of college. I have the time and knowledge on how to do this, I've done it twice!
It is so hard to start but I am! My youngest is home for the summer and she's been cooking healthy meals, we even had meatless for the last 2 days. Little to no processed food and cutting WAY back on the sugar.
I think the key is being diligent with your food, especially processed and surgery foods. If you have Netflix I HIGHLY recommend a documentary called "Fed Up" it has really opened my eyes on processed food and sugar.
I don't know if this helped you or anyone, I hope so. I just felt I needed to say something.
So.....this is the longest post I ever did!

As I said before my oldest just graduated college in California and we spent the past week and a half out there (we're from Michigan). Had a wonderful time!! Lots of food of course BUT with all the walking I did I didn't gain anything!!

Okay I'm done now I think, hahaha

Thanks KIMMYGA1! I lost weight by following the points system with Weight Watchers. I loved it and it was totally doable, but I didn't want to have to count points forever so I eventually started counting calories and maintained that way for the years I maintained.

Before going to work full time I was fully focused on myself and my family. I prepared healthy non processed whole food meals for my family, I exercised daily, kept my household clean, and I volunteered at my children's school. That was my average day and where my focus was at. Now I am working full time and I am trying to figure out how to still be there for my family in the same way I was before and it's not possible! Try as I may it just isn't possible, so I am trying to figure out how to be the best mother and wife I can be while working. It's taken a while but I almost have it figured out I THINK!!! : )

I work as a teachers aid at my children's elementary school. Which is great in the way that I take my kids to school and bring them home, when I am at work they are there with me...I see them periodically throughout the day...actually I am in my sons class room as my home room so I see him most of the day! The bad thing is that when I am not working they are with me...I have no free time to run errands etc. Unless I do it in the evening when my husband is home to watch them.
The nice thing about my job is that I have a lot of time off throughout the year, plus the summer break! I am ready for that to come!!! As far as working out at work, I go out to recess with the kids and I am on my feet all day, I get 10,000 steps just in my work day...but I don't have a long enough lunch to walk or anything...I am lucky if I get 20 minutes! and I am still in the classroom! : (

I also have a fitbit, I love it! Congratulations on your steps that is awesome! As far as working out for me now....my daughter and I are training for a marathon. Granted even when I was at my fittest weight I was not a runner. I could run and did some 5k's but never found that true joy from running. My daughter who is 11 is a runner and loves running, she really wants to do 5k's and marathons so she wants me to do them with her. We are on a training schedule right now that started out walking only and slowly works up to running a full marathon in 19 weeks! So we are on week 3 right now. Walking 3 miles a night and strength training on Monday's.

My struggle is getting motivated to track EVERYTHING I eat and stick to my daily calorie intake! I have to be dedicated to tracking and I am having a hard time getting back into the swing of things! I can do this though and I WILL DO THIS!

Melissa emoticon What a journey you've had and way to go on loosing that weight and for finding us so we can support you as you work on losing again. We have a great thread here and have great people too. emoticon Thank you for sharing your story. One question I have is when you lost the weight before what did you do to lose it? I admire you. I to am looking for something to click, I try but could definitely try harder, especially with my eating. It is hard working full time or not. I do work full time from home but it's still hard. Life is so crazy and when you work out of the home you don't want to spend 2 hours at the gym after being gone all day. Does your work have facilities that you could use to work out with maybe on a lunch break? What about going for walks if not? emoticon and we're here to help you along the way! emoticon What are you doing now to work towards your goals??

I wake up at 5:30 every morning and go walking with friends. I have 3 active boys who play baseball so usually after work we're either at practice or game. If I don't get my exercising in the morning it doesn't happen. I need to be better about my fruits and veggies and admire those people (like Marbeal) on this thread who get their 10 a day emoticon I need to do more. My husband just got a Fitbit so that might push me more to try harder but his job is so different than mine so he'll always kill me on the steps, oh well. My challenge helped me with my steps last week. The last week I did over 88,000 steps. I love getting that weekly report. I've added a lot more friends so I can try and compete with them emoticon emoticon

Marbeall I'm so glad you are doing well with your steps and freggies. Any dancing lately?? I'm glad we're not the only ones getting rain. It sure is helping with watering but frustrates me when neighbors still have their sprinklers going. Can't wait to get my yard done. This rain would be good for new sod emoticon emoticon Looking forward to the summer. Only a couple weeks of school and I'm ready for them to be done but need to decide what I'm doing with my middle son. If I send him to the new school by us or I send him to the old Jr High so he can continue with the French program. Better decide quick so I can register him.

Hope you have a fabulous day!! And wishing you all the best in your journey!! emoticon

Hello everyone, I am in true need of a check in pal. I would love to have some kind of accountability on my journey. I will tell you a little about myself.

My name is Melissa and I am a wife and a mother of two wonderful children, one 11 year old daughter and a one 8 year old son. I will try and and give you the quick short story! In 2008 I was at my heaviest 295lbs. Over the process of 2 1/2 years I lost 130 lbs, weighing in at 160lbs. I was able to maintain that weight until February of 2014, then I gained 30lbs and in December of 2013 I was 190lbs. I kind of hovered around 190 for a while but then in June of 2014 I went from being a stay at home mom who went to the gym every day for two hours a day to a full time job out of the home. That journey has drastically changed my life, I have been working full time for almost a year now and I am up another 40 lbs. Currently weighing 233.

I am feeling very FAT and unhealthy. I am starting to remember all the bad things about being this size...I want so badly to get back to my healthy weight of 165 but I am struggling to find the determination and commitment needed to meet that goal. The heavier I get the harder it becomes emotionally. I used to be so driven and focused but now I can't seem to stay on track for more then a few days! : ( I am hoping that I can find some support here on this message board. I know I can do it as I have done it before, I just need to have something click!

So that is my story and I look forward to learning more about all of you!

Melissa

Congrats on doing your best on the Fitbit challenge and walking even in the drizzle. Sorry to hear the rain is canceling games and keeping you from getting other things done.

It's rained a lot here too and the garden is blooming again. I have 8/14 no binge nights for May. Walked over 75,000 steps last week and maintaining 10 daily c water and freggies

Hope the rain stops soon so the boys can play baseball and you can work on your yard.

Thank you for your support here and on my acidity feed!!! Together we can do it!!! Keep on keeping on!!!

Here time has gotten away from me again. Several times I have gone to respond on here to you Marbeall but then would get a work call. I'm so impressed to see you hitting your No Binge goals. How's this month going so far? Way to go on getting your 72,000 steps a couple weeks ago. Last week my nephew invited me to a 5 day Fitbit step challenge. He kicked my butt along with my sister. But I sit for 8 hours a day for my job so was proud of what I did do. How's everything else going for you? I bet your garden is starting to bloom and look beautiful! emoticon

We have been hit with so much rain the last few weeks which has caused a bunch of games to be cancelled. We have a tournament this weekend and again it's supposed to rain. emoticon It's been nice to not have to water our lawn but interfere's with other stuff. We want to start working on our backyard but that's not happening either. We have even walked in the rain too but luckily it's only been a light rain.

How are the rest of our friends who have kindof disappeared?? We emoticon Please stop in and drop us a quick note. Hope you are all well and that your Mother's Day was great! emoticon

Kimmy congratulations on getting over 72000 steps last week! emoticon That's great that you will have the opportunity to start up a routine on the total gym. emoticon You will find a way to get clean eating into your daily breakfast and/or lunch. emoticon

Thank you for your support. I had over 72,000 steps last week also. Still getting my daily 10 c water and freggies. I have 2/14 no binge nights for May. Going for 3 tonight. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Marbeall I really like your scale how it breaks down the fat and muscle. Way to go on gaining that muscle. How are your no binge nights coming so far this month? Way to go on those steps and freggies. This last week I was over 72,000 steps and a friend who I don't think was using her fitbit much had kicked it into gear so need to be better emoticon

I really wish I could do clean eating more. It's no excuse but it helps if you have more support at home. But then again we're gone so much with baseball I really don't know how I would do it. But that's not excuse to not do it for breakfast and lunch. I need to do better so maybe that scale would start moving for me. My DH friend is getting rid of his Total Gym and giving it to me so hope I can come up with a routine and start using that. I'm so bad when it comes to weights. My SIL started a bootcamp with our other SIL and I'm jealous. I really like Crossfit and wish it wasn't so expensive to do. emoticon

Hope everyone else is doing well and know that they're missed!! Please check in if you can, if not know we're cheering you on!! emoticon

AHHH Time sure does get away from us. I saw a post a couple weeks ago and here I am again trying to find this great group and get caught up with everyone.

emoticon Projectchrissie! Love that you found us and hope that you check back often with us. We'd love to be a support system for you. Please tell us about yourself.

It's great to see some friends come back and check in. Sept2014 I'm glad the weather has gotten better for you and that you can start slowly training for your Badass emoticon Keep taking it easy and gradually start your training. Sorry for the injuries but hope they are healed and you're ready to kick training in the butt! I'm glad you've been able to get out in your garden and get your roadster out too! emoticon Keep checking in!! emoticon emoticon

Peggyga so glad to hear from you again too. It's amazing how in the winter it's harder to focus on us and yet things creep up so easily. Time to kick it into gear now that the weather is getting better. Hope you can remember you're worth it and focus on you! emoticon emoticon sounds like you are by taking advantage of the work gym. That makes it very handy. emoticon

Marbeall you hit your goal of 13 no binge nights!!! emoticon emoticon That is awesome and you still have 2 days to add to that. Such great improvements especially to hit 90,000 in one week! That is great. You work so hard and it is paying off! emoticon How is your garden coming? emoticon

As for me well it's been crazy busy with baseball. One son had a local tournament 2 weeks ago, then another son had one last weekend. This week we have games Monday-Saturday with Monday-Wednesday having 2 games each night. My oldest son hit an in the park grand slam last night emoticon It was so awesome, since they have both been struggling with their hitting. My youngest has been playing to and he hasn't gotten a hit either. My DH said he's destined to never see him get a hit. emoticon The difference is talent is hard but they've got to start somewhere. I've still been getting up in the mornings and walking. I did my 5 day Clean eating and then have gone back to the way I was before. It's so hard having ball every night and try to think of what you could make for your family that's portable. I've just got to emoticon . Really need to get out on my bike emoticon

Hope you all have a fabulous day and that you can keep working hard on achieving your goals. We're here for each other!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Thanks Marbeall - glad to be back. So far so good. I am sticking to what I said I would do. Also just found our that apparently there is a small gym here at work with a treadmill, bike, weights, etc. Now I have less of an excuse to increase my steps. Working behind a desk all day does not benefit me.

Life has been just getting in the way of things and it is time to just stop and take time out for me. The scale and all other numbers are going in the wrong direction. I have had it - it I don't do it then who else will - blah, blah, blah. Talk is cheap and it time to put the words into action. My immediate plan is to have Weight Watchers meal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the weekdays and start again with my walk/jog routine and saddle up 2-3 times a week (my horse is not liking this part emoticon
I weighed and measured myself this morning to ensure accountability. If after 2-weeks I do not see something then it might be time for professional help.

Any encouragement and support if very graciously appreciated!

Hello everyone!

Once again time flies and it has been so long since I posted. I hope everyone is doing well and seeing success against your goals. Life can be hectic, but the focus we are all putting on ourselves (we are sooooo worth it!) is important.

Spring has finally arrived here and it is slowly warning up. The snow is gone and I have been able to get out into my gardens to clean them up a bit. Tulips are poking through and the birds have returned to build their new nests. Katie my cat has left her spot by the fireplace in favour of roaming the property. The best sign though is that yesterday, I tucked away my winter car and put my little red convertible roadster back on the road. Yay!

Have reworked my training plan for badass dash in September as all winter I have been struggling with minor injury issues that took all the "umph" out of my workouts. Shin splints from efforts at running and a mysterious shoulder tendon pull slowed things down, Lots of rehab physio and patience have allowed things to heal up. The month of April I have deemed to be "cautious reintroduction month" where I am increasing and reintroducing my body to the intensity level needed to forge ahead. Slow and steady....

For fun I am taking golf lessons. I have golfed (badly it seems) for years but my buddies have now retired to Florida for the winter and are playing are all year around. Naturally their game has improved so, to keep up with them, lessons were in order. It is fun to see how a few changes in how you do things can make such a difference. First time on the course is scheduled for April 27th.

Yesterday I was using my central vacuum system and the motor burned out on it. Not a real surprise as the unit lasted 26 years -well past the lifespan of a typical household appliance. Dug deep into the pickets and purchased a new unit but now I cannot vacuum until the installers come to put it in. I hope they can come soon as floors get dirty so quickly.

Time now to prepare food for the day and make sure I get in 8-10 freggies and protein. Have np been doing pretty well but there is always the day or meal that is not perfect. No worries, am not striving for perfection, just consistency. How is everyone else doing?

Hope to hear from you!

How exciting to be planning your garden! Figuring out what planting zone you are in and how many hours of sun/shade you get in different parts of your yard will help you locate your beds and when to start planting this season.emoticon Looking forward to hearing more!

Hello Marbeall!! I've been meaning to post on here for the last few days and things just get my attention. Way to go on working on those no binge nights. After being reminded often of yours it makes me realize I need to start setting goals. Wish more of our friends would check back in with us. Way to go on the steps!! emoticon I love getting my fitbit report each week to see what my totals steps were, along with how many miles I walked. Great motivation! emoticon emoticon emoticon

I've been doing a challenge with some ladies at work to eat more clean the last 5 days. I'm not perfect but sure have been trying. Without saying anything to my DH he could tell something was different. It's amazing how many more fruits and veggies I've been trying to eat. My DH did tell me he needs to look to my example and try to start eating better. It's just so hard where we are full into baseball emoticon and with 3 boys it's been busy the last 2 weeks. We were able to go to Vegas last weekend for another tournament and only 1 son played. He won all his bracket games and lost to a California team on Championship day. It's fun, busy and stressful at the same time. It was actually our 16 year anniversary last night and had 2 different boys with games. So we're going out tonight and I'm looking forward to it. emoticon I'm still up walking every morning (except today and in Vegas) and actually went last week all by myself. We got our fence installed and now we just need to work on our backyard and get it ready for sprinklers, get dirt brought in and start working on prepping my garden area. I'm excited to give that a try and hope I reap the benefits. What do you guys plant in your gardens? emoticon Any tips for a first timer? Houses are selling like crazy in our area which makes me sad because we probably could have gotten a lot more money now than we did emoticon I need to stop letting that eat away at me and just let it go. We wouldn't be in the great area we are with such great neighbors.

Dear friends please check back in with us! Let us know how things are going and if we can help in any way!!! emoticon Have a wonderful weekend!!!!

Hello everyone!!! Happy April. emoticon
I've finally achieved my 3rd no binge night toward my April goal of 13 no binge nights. I'm getting 10 daily cups water and 10 daily cups of freggies plus lean protein. I've also increased my steps to over 80,000 steps per week the last 3 weeks. emoticon

How's everyone else doing? emoticon emoticon emoticon

URMYSUNSHINE05 we would love to have you join our thread! emoticon Not sure but everyone must be busy as of late since no one has posted for a little bit. We'd love to get to know you more. Please tell us about yourself. Where you're from, you goals, what you're doing to accomplish them and anything else. We love new Sparkfriends! emoticon
We last weekend we went out of town for baseball emoticon and had a wonderful time. It was so warm ( I got a sunburn ) and just great to be into baseball again. My boys played really well and my middle son even took 2nd place in the consolation bracket. Now in just over a week we head down to Las Vegas for another tournament. He played last night and it was freezing! Silly Utah weather emoticon emoticon emoticon It was so busy with both boys playing and being in literally 2 different states that we only got a 10 mile bike ride in on Sunday morning emoticon but that was a great start! Need to keep up with it. Hope everyone is doing well and working hard on your goals.
We emoticon all and hope you check in soon, even just a quick note to say Hi so we know you're still alive!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

March 20th, Happy Spring!

Hi ladies, My name is Faye and I was looking for a new friend. Someone to just chat with from time to time. I have been with SP for a number of years. I belong to another group, but there doesn't seem to be much activity of late. It's hard when you go to check to see what is going on with your group and no one post for days on end.

So I was wondering if I could sneak in here from time to time. If you don't want me, I will understand and stay with my group.

Have a great evening.
Faye

Kimmy sorry I pushed post button by accident and can't correct the misspell on youngest son. My mobile version isn't my favorite. It doesn't have an edit button for some reason. emoticon

Glad to see you posting activity in the feed! Thank you for your wonderful support. emoticon I am focusing on feeling good about my four no binge night streak. Even though I broke the streak last night I have another chance tonight to add my fifth night toward my March goal of 12. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Good luck with the baseball season Kimmy! Sometimes I miss my girls being younger, it seemed we were always busy doing something.

My calf didn't cramp up last night, thankfully, but I think it meant something was off because today my right hip was hurting so bad, I can barely walk. So I didn't do the treadmill today, I don't think I could've. Tomorrow I'll get on it, it might have to be extra slow.

Pam great work on the treadmill! Hopefully you didn't cramp up and that you keep it up emoticon emoticon emoticon that's all you can do is keep at it. I hope your husband is doing ok with the loss of his friend. emoticon

Marbeall so glad to hear its warming up there and hopefully you can get some outdoors walking in. I'm glad to hear your brother is I and that he didn't break anything. I can't believe you only sleep 4 hours at night, I would not be able to function. I'm in the office at work today and am dragging and can barely keep my eyes open. emoticon on 3 no binge nights do far! You got this

My DH and son were gone this last weekend so I worked on finishing our lockers we built and putting together a basketball hoop we got our kids for Christmas. They are loving that and hopefully we will get out and play with them to. My youngest had baseball tryouts tonight, hope they go emoticon well and I can survive this season

Thank you for the condolences, I only met him a few times but my husband knew him well. It was just scarry because he was only a year older then me.

I actually got on the treadmill today! 60 minutes, 2.5 miles. It's a start! emoticon
My right calf muscle feels like it wants to cramp up right now. I did stretches after, hopefully it doesn't cramp when I'm sleeping emoticon

Hope your brother is feeling better MARBEALL

Kimmy thank you for your support. emoticon Its great that you are able to get back into exercise with the weather warming up. emoticon Do you think you will do the run this year?

It will be warmer in the 40s and 50s this week for us as well. The ice buildup has melted off our walk, drive and road. So I will add some outdoor walks. emoticon

Thank you for asking about my brother, he fell but did not break anything so that is the good news.

One of my newer goals is to trying to destress and sleep more than 4 hours at a time. emoticon

Last night I got my first no binge night toward my 12 no binge night goal for March. emoticon will go for my second no binge tonight AND Im even in the lower part of my calorie range today. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Hello Jackie!! emoticon We're excited to have you as part of our thread! Hopefully we can be the support you need on your weight loss journey. What are you goals, what are you doing to accomplish them and tell us about yourself and where you're from. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Marbeall I'm sorry to hear your brother is in the hospital. emoticon What's going on with him? Hopefully you can de-stress a little and get back on working on those no binge nights. It's great to hear you and your DH went dancing and that you're mall walking too. This dang weather! emoticon I can't complain since we've had a very mild winter but puts a damper on things when you're wanting to exercise. I missed 2 days this week walking with my friend but have gone the last 2 mornings, it's been chilly!! But we're supposed to get up into the 50's for the next few days so looking forward to that. Please be careful in all you do! emoticon

Pam I'm sorry to hear about your friend passing away. How scary from shoveling. Take care and don't do too much. You know your body so just do what you're capable of. I'm sorry for all the snow you have to deal with. That is definitely a way to get exercise in, cardio and strength training.

My Dh and middle son went down south for Spring Training this weekend so I'm at home with the other 2 boys. Just got off work so I can spend some time with them especially since my oldest doesn't have school today. And I switched someone so am working tomorrow now. Have a fabulous weekend everyone and keep working hard!! emoticon emoticon

We emoticon our other friends who haven't checked in for a while too.

Congratulations on getting your exercise emoticon on the treadmill emoticon

We got snow here too and sheets of ice on the walk and drive. But dh and I practiced ldance emoticon yesterday at the mall and I walked the mall with Mary.

I got overstressed with my brother in emergency and have started March with binges at night. emoticon So, time to destress and plan no binge strategy for today and tonight. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Pam. It's great to see your post. Congrats on safely getting exercise shoveling snow without overdoing it. emoticon

I also used to weigh more than my husband and my brother. Acknowledging and sharing every bit of my progress, no matter how small, helps focus on the positive and keep my energy up to keep on keeping on.

You can do it. I can do it emoticon emoticon emoticon

Thank you for the welcome backs!

Well I didn't get on the treadmill but I shoveled heavy snow for about 40 minutes, I figured that would be a pretty good workout. I hope I can get out of the driveway tomorrow. emoticon

It was scarry shoveling, a friend of my husband just passed away doing that, he was only a year older then me. That's all I could think of. There was more to shovel but I didn't want to over do it. It'll melt and hopefully soon!!

Have a great night, I'm off to bed now emoticon

Hello everyone!! emoticon Rockrs! Excited to have you join our thread. Please tell us about yourself. Where are you from, what are your goals and what you are doing to achieve them. We'd love to get to know you more. We're a very supportive group emoticon

Pam, emoticon we emoticon how did the treadmill treat you? Remember no matter how bad things get you can always start over. I've always weighed more than my husband, one day I'll be smaller than him. Doesn't help his weight doesn't fluctuate much. He started last night on the treadmill again. emoticon emoticon Know we're here for you emoticon

Marbeall way to go on achieving your no binge streak. Hope this month you're of to a good start emoticon emoticon

We got a good smore storm today so luckily my DJ got the treadmill set up but how boring!! emoticon emoticon emoticon
