Actually, you don't HAVE to remember to boil those eggs - WHAT?? Seriously, you can find them already boiled AND peeled at the grocery store. They come in packages of 6-10 and are more expensive than buying just plain eggs but still a pretty good bargain - they last quite a while too - I don't ALWAYS buy them, but do occasionally because they help me to eat and healthy breakfast on the run.

Having said that, yogurt, leftovers from the previous night (I like roast chicken breast on a slice of bread or a wrap, or slices of roast beef from Sunday dinner), fiber bars, and the ever handy piece of fruit.

With love and caring from Nancy ... wishing all of you a wonderful, blessed, and precious day.

Hunger set in, of course while I was in the middle of getting a zillion things done at my desk! Ran to make a packet of maple oatmeal! Maybe it's just today too because my tongue is still burnt from yesterday and taste buds were like...WHOA emoticon I TASTE FOOD!
haha!!

Think I'm going for the hard boil eggs on my way. Other mornings if I forget I'll leave bagels/cream cheese and apples in the fridge here!
Thanks peeps!

I have been switching between oatmeal at my desk with some blueberries in it and a wheat bagel thin with low fat cream cheese and an apple. Bagel and apple are portable. Other things like bananas, egg muffins, or other fruit are all small and portable, so you don't have to have a huge meal for breakfast. You should definitely have something for breakfast though.

It is 9:23am and I have leftover blueberry pancakes calling me from the fridge. I love breakfast also. I love to vary it. Oat meal, cream of wheat, omlettes, eggs sunnyside up with turkey bacon and pancakes will often be on my table at least once a week. But, when I can delay my breakfast, it seems it makes the rest of the day easier to handle from a hunger point of view.

Ok, so I already know breakfast is very important to eating well.
But the thing is I'm up at 5:30am, out the door by 6:30am and to work by 7:15. I'm not a right away breakfast eater. I can't, really. I prefer to be up for a few hours before I crave any food. I'll have my small (8oz cup but I never finish it) coffee on the way to work. I could get breakfast on the way, funny how I can eat fast food breakfast (don't worry I choose healthy emoticon) but I'm cutting back on spending like that.

As I type now at 8:40am I'm staring at the package of oatmeal I brought but just not hungry.
Any suggestions? I need fast, portable, no mess kinds of food that I can have while driving....which I know is not ideal but I actually enjoy eating while driving. Is that weird or what?emoticon
One thing you can mark off the list is h ard boiled eggs....they are my favorite!!! emoticon...I just have to remember to actually make some! haha
