Thank you Aussiefloss,
I am actually feeling much better, got the stitches out and the infection has calmed to a dull roar. It is good to see others struggle, of course like you said I wouldn't want anyone to struggle, it's just really nice to see everyone come together and support each other. Also it is super awesome to see someone overcome a struggle, it means we can do it too. Trust me, I would have emotionally ate if my mouth let me, luckily I got sick of ice cream fast. Plus with a boo boo mouth you can't get the good stuff. Good luck to you and never be afraid to share, it definitely helped me yesterday and today to get over a hump.
Thank you for your support!

I'm glad you posted your frustrations here. It helps me, believe it or not, to see that others go through setbacks too! Not that I'm glad of it, for you. Don't get me wrong. It's just that we can stand together, hold 'hands' like supportive friends, and say, it's ok, it happens, and let's work together to get back to where we want to be. I am waaaay behind from where I was. My problem is emotional eating. You have something going on that you can't control. Do the best you can. That's all you can do...I feel like a failure. Like I didn't do the best I can, but you didn't do this to yourself!
I hope you can get to feeling better soon inside and out! Ouch. Your poor mouth. Soup for you?

Sometimes with the things that happen in life, you need to take a break from the dieting. I did this recently when I moved. I just stopped the calorie counting and worrying about the workouts. I ate when I was hungry and what I wanted. After I got settled in, I started back. And I started back losing weight. A break won't kill your efforts as long as the break doesn't stretch into a whole lifestyle (which I know it won't for you...this is just a temporary medical thing). I am so sorry for all of your pain and I hope that you feel better soon!

Thanks Rebcca!
I really needed to hear that, I was on such a roll and so proud of myself. Thank you for the healing thoughts and hugs. My hope is to be back to it sooner rather than later. For now I will just try take care of myself.
Good, appreciative thoughts heading your way.

Kengira Hello,

You have my sincere empathy for this and I do hope your pain ceases soon and infection is cleared away.
Give yourself a break to heal and recover from this without dreading ahead. It sounds difficult enough to deal with right now. Also in this sort of challenge you would probably be better served by not to try to make any big decisions about things. (Like not working). I learned long ago that times of distress are not optimal for judging and making assessments.

Life does give us set backs and it is part of the processes to weather them and move on with your goals despite these forced 'time outs'.

I am sending you wellness wishes and speedy recovery hugsemoticon

Today I feel defeated, it has been a solid week since I worked out. I had oral surgery a week ago on three teeth that needed to be dug out of my mouth...the recovery has taken way longer than expected and eating mushy food has not helped. Yesterday I discovered one was very infected, even with pain killers (which I hate) I can still feel the outrageous pain. I want to get back on the wagon tomorrow after my stitches are out, I just feel really discouraged...how can I start up again at the same level...I feel like I took one step forward and got pushed two steps back...
