Angela,

Do it!!! Remember our body is made up mostly of water so any deviation in your nutrition, workouts, hydration and even hormones can lead to a constant fluctuation on the scale. You have done an amazing job and I think getting your hair done will make you feel wonderful for doing so well!!! GREAT JOB, my friend!!!

Nancy

"The finishing of a marathon bestows a unique sense of worth that can last for a lifetime - regardless of finish time. We need to salute the efforts of those at the back who did not inherit the genetic material to run on a collegiate cross country team, but who inserted training into busy career and family schedules, improved their health and inspire others." Here is my dillema.....I set my first reward for a 25 pound weight loss. Then, I would get my hair done. I am 1.9 pounds off. The scale is being very difficult. It has been months since I have cut and colored my hair. It is driving me CRAZY!!!!! My daughters think I should just reward myself because I have already lost 20 pounds. What are your thoughts?

This homemade alternative to store-bought granola bars, is a good source of protein, fiber and healthy fats. Tasty and so simple to make! A quarter cup of raisins (not included here) also make a yummy addition! Full Recipe
