Food can be your best supplement ie. flax seed, wheat germ, but I also take the BJ's version of GNC Men's Mega, 2 g. of C, and 1500 mg. glucosimine it may be the placebo effect but I swear it helps the old bones

I have mild milk intolerance and mild IBS with Constipation symptoms. (Bloating and gas, sometimes very painful gas, and of course the constipation). Plus I have acid reflux. So you see I can't consume a lot of dairy, and the soy milk I used to drink instead now also gives me painful gas and bloating. I also take fiber powders for my hemorrhoid's I acquired when my children were born, so you see I need to take supplements. I take all these:

Citrical Calcium 600 MG 2 X a day.

Acidopholis Probiotic 2 billion active cultures 2 X a day.

Ester C 500 MG 2 X a day.

One Source Ultimate Woman's Vitamin

D-3 1000 IU

By the way since I'm bloated a lot of the time I find it hard to loose any weight. I'm at least 50 pounds overweight at 185 pounds and 5' 4".

Theres alot of hype these days about supplements. Amino acids to break down fats, creatine to build muscle. Some of these things are not safe and bad for your health in the long run. Are there any safe supplements or anything to take along with fitness and nutrition to help you on your way.
