I have a beginners dvd, I do it at least twice a week. At first it was just for the variety in my workouts, but it's a great workout and mediataion combined. I have gone on to meditating everyday, I have found a peace for my efforts.
Never heard of that woman, but Priscilla Patrick had a long running series on PBS "Stretching with Priscilla" and all 200 episodes are on YouTube. She is now 72 and still teaches at her studio in South Carolina www.yogaone.com
I love the videos by Rodney Yee since he is a teacher trained by BKS IYENGAR. You can't find any better.

I have been doing hot yoga for a couple of years now. Can't say I like it but I think it is good for me. I haven't been in almost 2 weeks and tomorrow will be my first day back. I'm excited. One thing about hot yoga is you have to be well hydrated before you start. tracking my water intake here will help me know I'm ready for class.

I just bought some DVDs by Peggy Cappy (you might know her from PBS fundraiser weeks). I hope to crack the first one open this evening. My goal is to build a daily meditation and yoga practice. I need to increase my flexibility and decrease my stress. Just the beginning of a new journey!
If you already do this sort of practice, I would welcome your wisdom!
