I'd suggest you check with your doctor, on what would be appropriate for you to do. It may very well be that you need to work your way into it more gradually... perhaps, say, a program of just walking at gradually increasing degrees of difficulty, before getting into something more aerobically stressful? While it's important for our overall health and fitness to get some cardio in... it wouldn't be logical to make a problem like high blood pressure worse, while doing it.
