Hi Rhondacr, My name is Kelli and I am 55 yrs. old and I can relate to your message.
I have lost 69 lbs. thus far and I am going to continue with an additional 62 pounds more. I am okay with eating veggies, but what is my downfall is getting any sort of fruit in!!
It has taken me a long time to get to this point, but I am going through a difficult time in my life and I just got the mindset that this is something that I have to complete and the time for that completion is....NOW emoticon

Stick with SparkPeople website if you can, because it gives A LOT of information, friends, encouragement, recipes, etc.
What I am trying to do is religiously get onto the website as if it were a journal and jot down my weight and food tracker info.
I know it is A LOT, but it will help. It has for me.

There is so much information on Spark People. I'm 50 and I chose to lose over 60 pounds. I'm use to eating fried foods. What do you recommend? It's hard to start something cold turkey. Looking for reassurance. I enjoy eating lettuce, but I don't eat vegetables.
