I agree with the posters suggesting you alternate the 90 minute days with lighter days and you might find it easier to face. Also, if you are busy, split it into shorter periods throughout the day, 10 minutes or 15 are sometimes easier to fit in and many studies have shown that exercising that way is also a big benefit to our bodies.

I'd have to agree that 90 minutes is a lot of time to spend exercising, especially if you're not used to exercising on a regular basis. You can cut back to 45 or even 30 minutes, on the days where you'll be out and about, doing other things. Save the 90 minute workouts for days when you know you'll have the time. On days where I don't have the time for a longer workout at home, I park a little further from the stores or work, take the stairs, get up from my desk every hour and walk around a bit-- do little things like that to work my muscles a bit more.

Exercise is very important, to get and keep us fit and healthy. Weight loss though is much more about what/ how much we eat. You can't out-exercise a bad diet.

Sometimes your body just needs a break. Try doing only 45 minutes every other day, alternating with your 90 minute workouts on the other days and see if that helps. If you exercise too much and don't get enough sleep, or allow your body to recover, then you open yourself up to injury and illness. And that is a much bigger set back to overcome.

If you are just starting out, 90 minutes might be too much. Perhaps a shorter time until exercise is more a habit would be better for you.

They do seem harder. I have about 3-4 days that every thing goes well then on day 5 or 6 I just can't seem to get motivated to do anymore. I exercise 90 minutes a day so sometimes I wonder if I would be more motivated if I did 60 minutes instead.

Hi
Does anyone else have to make themselves do exercises each day? I feel guilty when I really am so busy and not home to do them that sometimes I want to give up. Am I the only one that experiences those feelings?
